A man on TikTok suggests that flight attendants play their own secret game with passengers by saying a certain phrase. Have you ever heard it before?

Aside from the fellow passengers whose faces you’ll come to recognize for the duration of your airline flight, you’re probably going to get at least somewhat acquainted with the flight attendants aboard your vessel. That’s usually because they’ll be going up and down the aisles distributing snacks and refreshments as they do their best to accommodate the needs of the passengers on board.

But while we try to busy ourselves with whatever in-flight entertainment is available to us, flight attendants may just be passing the time with some amusement of their own. In fact, Garret Clanton on TikTok (@gowithgarret) suggests that if you hear this phrase being said to you when you deplane and pass by the flight attendants, they’ve been playing a secret game among themselves and you’re basically reaping the benefits.

This man claims that flight attendants play a secret game with passengers.
In his quick videos, Garret claims that flight attendants have their own little game that they play among themselves. It even sort of involves the other passengers on board. The game is reportedly called “See You Later.”
According to him, the game only takes place when folks are deplaning. Normally, the flight attendants are there at the exit to extend a friendly farewell or wish you a nice stay at your final destination. Most of us may offer a similar kind word in return, especially for all the hard work they did on the flight. But if you happen to hear one of them say “see you later” to you, it may just mean something else.

As the rules of this little game dictate, anyone who says “see you later” to a passenger means that they find that passenger attractive and may just be interested in you.

“Next time you’re getting off a plane [and] that flight attendant says ‘see you later,’ I’d think twice on what that really means,” Garret suggests.

Does that mean you should start flirting with any and all flight attendants who say this? Probably not, especially when there’s probably a whole line of people behind you waiting to get off the plane. However, Garret suggests that it certainly couldn’t hurt to try and shoot your shot if you do happen to hear it.
In another video, Garret presents some potential follow-ups that you could use to see if something could happen between you and the flight attendant.
“Just give them your number,” he suggests. “Feel out the vibes, don’t make it weird. If they text you, they text you. If they don’t, guess what? They were just saying ‘see you later.’”

If nothing else, at least even Garret is open to the reasonable explanation that flight attendants are just being friendly in their own way.

While the legitimacy of this rumor is dubious at best, it has gotten plenty of folks thinking about the next time they fly.
One person joked, “Thanks, new fear of rejection now,” implying that they may get super disappointed if they don’t hear it on a flight.

One TikToker who claims to be a flight attendant claims to have been telling people “see you later” constantly on flights without meaning anything by it.
“Imma keep saying it though,” they boast.
Will you be listening out for this the next time you get off a plane?

So, is Sam Hartman dating anyone?
As someone in the public eye, Sam hardly ever shares details about his love life. There’s no trace of past relationships on his social media pages, and right now, it looks like Sam is single and focusing on his football career.

Sam grew up with two older brothers, Joe and Demitri.
The college athlete grew up in a football household, sometimes playing alongside his older brother Joe. Now, like the Notre Dame superstar, Joe is a relatively private person. However, in August 2023, Sam revealed that Joe is a medical student at the University of Florida.
Sam also had another older brother: Demitri Allison. He moved in with the Hartman family at 15 and went on to play football at Elon University. Demitri and Sam were inseparable, and the latter idolized his older brother.

On Nov. 11, 2015, Demitri died by suicide.
Sam opened up about his brother’s death in a post on Faith Driven Athlete, writing, “He may have had a different last name than me, and we may not have shared a bloodline, but he was a brother in every sense of the word. And when you love someone like you love a brother, it hurts just as much not having him here anymore.”

Since his brother’s tragic death, Sam has put the initials D.A. (Demitri Allison) on his wristband. He also wears jersey No. 10 in Demitri’s honor, as it was his number on the football field.

Sam, who started therapy in 2021 and found ways to manage his anxiety and stress, told ESPN that he sees some of Demitri in his Notre Dame teammates — and that drew him to continue playing college football.
Sam’s parents are very supportive of his career.
Sam Hartman was born on July 29, 1999, to parents Mark and Lisa Hartman. While he’s close with his dad, a surgeon, the QB and his mom have a close-knit bond due to their similar personalities.
Lisa told ESPN she and Mark were strict in raising their boys and “didn’t do a lot of coddling.” She noted a difference between “being hurt and being injured,” but she and Mark always offered support.

“She’s why I’m here,” Sam said of Lisa. “She’s been the one who’s there when I was in the hospital when I was 17, when I’m in the hospital again when I’m 23. Those are tough moments where you’re seeing your mom sleep on either a chair sitting upright, or sleeping on a small couch. I’m important to her, and I felt that the whole time.”

Sam Hartman wears a necklace with a piece of his own rib bone.
Sticking to the topic of hospitals, Sam underwent surgery in August 2022 after being diagnosed with Paget-Schroetter syndrome, which, according to ESPN, “causes a blood clot in a vein underneath the collarbone.” The blood clot was a side effect of a thyroid surgery he had as a teenager.

As a result, doctors had to remove Sam’s rib; before the operation, he asked if he could keep it — and luckily, they let him take it. Sam wanted it to be a memento, and his mom knew exactly what to do.
She had made necklaces out of Petoskey stones, but to create the rib necklace, Lisa had to remove the flesh and clean it with an “extra-strength peroxide.” At one point, she even reached out to Sam.

“Look, on my computer history, I’m searching human bones and how to preserve them,” Lisa recalled telling Sam, per ESPN, “so if something happens, you’ve gotta be my alibi, like, I’m not trying to get rid of your dad or something.”
Sam doesn’t wear the rib necklace often, choosing to keep it in his apartment as a “symbol of what he went through, and his bond with his mom.”
We’ve all made mistakes at work, but (hopefully) none this bad. This woman was just following directions, but the results were disastrous.
TikTok is here for the good: cute dog videos, inspirational quotes, tarot readings. TikTok is also here for the bad. We don’t mean bad content necessarily, but like people sharing their bad experiences. While some of them are incredibly sad, others can just make us feel a bit better about ourselves … because at least it didn’t happen to us.

That might sound harsh but you all know the feeling when you see something and you think, “At least it wasn’t me.” That is exactly what we thought when a woman shared how she accidentally zeroed out the inventory at her store.

Here’s what happened.
This woman accidentally zeroed out her entire store inventory!
TikTok user @2beach2surf took to the app to describe what happened to her at work that day. The video starts with her saying, “I do inventory now. I go in early and I do inventory which works out great. It’s great, right? It’s great. It’s all great. It’s all great.” It soon becomes clear that she’s being sarcastic and her day was actually not that great.

“Today is my first day to do it on my own,” she continues. “I followed my little sheet of paper. I trust that whoever made the f—— piece of paper knew what they were talking about. You would think right?”
The woman continues saying that, “I followed it to a T. Very literal. Everything that f—— piece of paper said to do, I did cause I’m a little A student … I just do what I’m told. I did everything the paperwork said including click a button. Click a button that says ‘zero all.’ It said right on the paperwork ‘click it,’ so I clicked it.”

At this point, anyone who has worked retail (or who understands what the phrase “zero all” means) is probably having a panic attack. And let me tell you, friends — that reaction is completely warranted. Watch the video to hear the whole story:
The woman then describes how she, “knew immediately that something wasn’t right,” even though she had just been following instructions. She couldn’t stop thinking about it so she decided to tell the manager what happened. The manager freaked out and told her that she shouldn’t have clicked “zero all,” and that you have to “filter it by brand,” — even though that wasn’t written on the instruction sheet.

The manager then told her that she “zeroed out the store’s entire inventory.” The woman is very noticeably frustrated and fighting back tears in her eyes recalling what happened. The woman says that no one can buy anything because it all says zero.

The woman told her manager, “That’s cool. Let me know the right way to do it next time, k?”
Now, obviously, we’ve all made mistakes at our jobs before — nobody’s perfect! Until the day that robots take over every single job in existence, we’re going to have to allow for some level of human error. Still, even though it’s a perfectly normal occurrence, it’s easy to imagine how awful this TikToker must have felt as soon as she realized her error.

And the error wasn’t even really her fault, as she points out in her video! We’re laying the blame for this one squarely at the feet of whoever created that piece of paper that tells people to click “zero all”!

Many of the commenters pointed out that the “zero all” button really shouldn’t even exist, or at least shouldn’t give one person the ability to completely delete 100 percent of the information without some kind of “are you sure you want to do that?” option.
Viewers were also super sympathetic to the TikToker’s plight. “Rough days at work are the worst. Just the worst,” one wrote. “Affects mood, self-esteem, outlook on life. I’m so sorry.”

On the bright side, this could be one way to ensure that you remain employed for a good long while. Someone is going to have to recount all of that stock, after all! Another silver lining is the fact that she’ll probably never have a worse day than this one. It’s all up from here!
When a social media influencer was contacted by a brand offering a ton of money for an AI clone of her, it was definitely too good to be true.
According to Forbes, there are at least nine advantages to using artificial intelligence (AI). They range from “reducing human error” to performing “risky and perilous tasks efficiently.” While I know that’s true in my brain, every story that comes out seems to be negative which adds more fearful fuel to my paranoid pyre.

One harrowing use of AI is making the rounds on TikTok and I’m not kidding when I say, this is a top five nightmare scenario for me. TikToker @adminandeve, real name Eve, was one of the first influencers I came across who was warning others about this trap. Apparently a brand is offering heaps of money in exchange for an AI clone of content creators with huge platforms. If it sounds like a Faustian bargain, it’s probably a Faustian bargain.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
Eve Pena wants to help you find a job, and a decent existence. She’s a self-described career coach who wants to help people find employment that allows them to “live your life, pursue your passions, and pay you a thriving wage. Life is too short to work 14 days straight and take a vacation every three years,” per her website.
She offers a wide array of services that include but aren’t limited to punching up your resume, revamping your LinkedIn profile, and writing a cover letter that actually works. She will also give general career advice as needed. As Eve tells it, she “went from customer service to corporate to six figures in only four years as an assistant.” It’s safe to say, she knows how to get things done and can sniff out a scam.

That’s why she popped onto her TikTok to warn CareerTok and her fellow influencers of a pretty terrifying offer. “Over the next week or two you’re going to see influencers peddling a highly unethical, and really dangerous career-based service,” she claims. She knows this because that comany was “stupid enough to offer it” to her.

These guys must be desperate to spread the word about their services because they offered Eve what amounts to 25 times her rent in New York City. An apartment on the cheap side in NYC runs about $2,000, which means Eve might have been able to make as much as $50,000. So, who is spending this much money and what’s the catch?
The spiel went something like this: How would you feel if you never had to give an interview as you yourself ever again, and if we could create a clone for you by using your voice and likeness that would sit on Zoom calls and get you a stellar interview, and get you the job.” I’m not sure we’re at Zoom clones yet. This doesn’t feel right and is definitely the plot to Multiplicity.

Apparently they are promising the very same things Eve does as a Career Coach, so I can see why she is especially rattled by this. To get more information, Eve suggests they schedule a Zoom call. This of course begs the question, will Eve be speaking with a real person?

She comes in hot and points out the fact that this is very unethical. “What do you say to that,” she asks the woman (AI bot?) on the Zoom call. “I feel like it’s unethical too,” she replied. “Don’t worry we will create talking points for you so you can answer the hate comments and deflect as needed.” It’s definitely a bad sign when an organization is expecting negative reactions.
After doing some digging into the company, Eve learned the CEO is based on Dubai but couldn’t find a name. “So, he’s a Saudi billionaire,” joked Eve. Their plan is to target the American market via influencers with enormous platforms which Eve feels could also pose a threat to national security. Honestly, a bunch of influencer clones are only threatening to the wellness market.

The brand in question could be Forever Voices.
Eve doesn’t mention the name of the brand that contacted her, but it might be Forever Voices. They’ve already been dealing with influencers like Caryn Marjorie who partnered with the company and, “for a dollar a minute, fans she might never have otherwise had the time to meet could instead chat with Marjorie’s digital double,” reported the Los Angeles Times.

This is framed as romantic and “incorporates aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy into its conversations.” Conversations did get weird which makes sense says Amy Webb, chief executive of the consulting firm Future Today Institute. “We’re talking about an AI system [where] theoretically the goal is to keep people on as long as possible so that you continue earning money,” she said. “Which means that it’s likely going to start incentivizing behavior that we probably would not want in the real world.”
Although artificial intelligence is deeply rooted in machines and technology, one’s humanity must play a part in regulating. There are people like Eve who are concerned this is a bit like selling your soul while folks like Caryn “see AI as a tool, and it’s a tool that helps creators create better content.” Maybe Goethe was right when he wrote in Faust: E’en hell hath its peculiar laws.
