After several years in the spotlight on RHOC, Gina is ready to move on to a new platform — podcasting. In June 2023, the mother of six teamed up with Grammy-winning country singer Shane McAnally to launch their podcast, Orange Country.
Gina exclusively spoke to Distractify about creating a new lane for herself and how she’s using it to discuss the various changes in her life.

The first episode of the podcast aired on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, and was titled, “Shane Gets Gina Canceled.”

The podcast’s episode aired two weeks after the RHOC Season 17 premiere and also airs on Wednesdays like RHOC. However, Gina told us the similarities between Orange Country and RHOC pretty much stop at their titles and air dates.

Unlike some of her Bravo peers, including her co-star Tamra Judge, Gina said she opted out of making Orange Country solely about the Housewives franchise. She said that while RHOC is “a part of my life,” and she would love to have her BFF Emily Simpson in an episode, there are many other sides to her that she plans to show through the podcast.
“A lot of it just is centered around Shane and me, and conversations that we have about parenting and real-life journeys, struggles, sobriety, mental health, relationships, just like everything across the board,” Gina said of Orange Country’s premise.

“And so like, when I have Emily on, it’s like, ‘Yes, it’s Emily, [from] The Real Housewives of Orange County,’ but I’m also just having on my friend and someone that I know has a lot of really good feedback and input and, you know, knowledge and can like to chime in and has stories about like parenting and real-life stuff,” she added.
Gina opens up about her relationship with her boyfriend Travis Mullen on her podcast.

While there won’t be too many conversations about yacht dinners gone awry on Orange Country, Gina promises there will be plenty of relationship tea on the podcast, including her current one with Travis Mullen.
The CaraGala co-founder and her financial planner beau started dating in 2019 and have been going strong ever since. In Season 17 of RHOC, Travis was incredibly supportive of Gina during her Montana trip drama with Heather Dubrow.

Gina and Travis are also partners in raising their children. Travis has three kids from his marriage to Meghan Mullen — Presley, 10, Bennett, 8, and Joseph, 5, while Gina has her three — Nicholas, Luca, and Sienna Rose, from her previous marriage. But Gina says their blended family doesn’t mean she’s ready to tie the knot for a second time.

Although she says she’s “fully committed” to Travis and “happy” with the life they share, she said marriage isn’t either of their main priority. She said they prefer to focus on their “modern family” and “modern relationship” instead — which may or may not include a ring on her finger.
“The answer is, I don’t know,” Gina told us when or if she will marry Travis. “It’s not like I’m anti-marriage or anti a pretty ring. Definitely not. But like, also, I’m happy in my life. We’re fully committed.”
We’re both coming off of divorces; we’re both still relatively young like we’re both under 40. And we’re rebuilding. And so like, we’re just more focused on continuing to become financially stable,” she added.

And while she doesn’t know when the date will come, Gina said she and Travis would love to get married for their kids. Since each set of their kids knows what it’s like to be children of divorced parents, she said seeing them be officially a family would give them a “sense of permanence.”
“I just want them to feel like all the other kids feel, which is like, ‘this is forever.’ Because it will be forever,” she noted.
The ‘RHOC’ star and her podcast co-host also discuss Gina’s sobriety.
Marriage might not be the first thing on Gina’s mind, but the RHOC star’s physical and mental health certainly is. During Season 17 of RHOC, Gina revealed she is now “California sober.” For those who don’t know what that means, people who are California sober tend not to drink alcohol but have no problems partaking in cannabis.

Gina discusses her sobriety on her and Shane’s podcast in addition to the show. She told us she decided to get sober after feeling like drinking was “becoming too much” and that alcohol started having “a little too much control over me.”

“I just felt like I was drinking too much,” she said. “It wasn’t serving me. Well, I felt like crap every day.”
Once she realized alcohol had a stronger hold on her than she desired, Gina changed her health and behavior.
“I really wasn’t setting out when I first stopped drinking to like, stop drinking forever,” she admitted. “But then I just was liking what was happening in my life so much more.”
We all know Scott Disick as the lovable villain on ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians.’ But did you know that he refers to himself as royalty?
The Gist:
Scott Disick literally holds the royal title of lord!
Scott got this title in the least glamorous way possible.
People are wondering if this means his kids are now royalty.

Fans are wondering: why exactly is Scott Disick, the perennial bad boy turned family man, donned with the moniker of nobility? What’s the story behind his title of lord? Here’s what we know.

There’s a not so glamorous story behind Scott’s title of lord.
The genesis of Scott’s honorary title can be traced back to the playful and somewhat eccentric nature of the reality TV star. In a memorable episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Scott, known for his cheeky antics, declared his aspirations for royalty.
“Whether it’s Sir Disick, Lord Disick, Count Disick — becoming royal is going to get me the respect I deserve,” he proclaimed. I mean the man’s Instagram handle is literally, @letthelordbewithyou.
The twist is that Scott didn’t ascend to his noble status through traditional means. Instead, he purchased the title online, adding a touch of irony to his newfound aristocracy.

People can get the title of lord three different ways.
While Scott’s method of acquiring a lordship isn’t exactly fancy, it’s worth exploring the various legitimate ways one can obtain such a title. Traditionally, titles like lord or lady are hereditary or granted by the monarch for notable contributions.

However, in the modern era, companies such as Highland Titles offer individuals the opportunity to purchase novelty titles, allowing them to playfully adopt the mantle of nobility. Also, marrying into a family with existing titles or appointment to the House of Lords, one of the chambers of the U.K. Parliament, are other avenues through which one can acquire such distinctions.
Just because Scott is a lord, doesn’t mean his kids are royalty.
Even though Scott named one of his kids Reign, the royal status he purchased doesn’t bestow any royal status upon his children. In the world of reality TV and celebrity culture, playful titles and eccentric declarations aren’t uncommon.

Whilehis three children — Mason, Penelope, and Reign — are certainly reality TV royalty, they aren’t legitimate members of a royal family. The line between fantasy and reality in the Kardashian universe is often blurred, and Scott’s title is just another facet of the family’s penchant for dramatic flair.
So, there you have it — the whimsical tale of how Scott, the charismatic maverick of the Kardashian clan, became “Lord Disick.” Whether it’s through online purchases, noble lineage, or parliamentary appointments, the world of titles and distinctions is far more diverse than one might imagine. And we can’t wait to see what crazy antic Scott will think of next!

Rebecca met her husband, Matthew, at the University of Chicago, where they graduated together. “She was the funniest girl I ever met,” Matthew said. “There was an enormous depth to her personality and character that she didn’t reveal to a lot of people. I found that very appealing.” The pair worked together at the Bank of America in Chicago in investment banking, which is when they fell in love.

In 2006, Rebecca was hired by CNBC in New York, so she moved while they were long-distance for two years. In 2008, Matthew moved to be with Rebecca, and in 2010, he proposed. “I did not see it coming,” Rebecca said of the proposal. “It was so cold out, and we were both shivering. When he took off his glove and reached into his pocket to take out the ring, it was difficult to tell if he was shivering from the cold or from nervousness.”
Rebecca and Matthew have two kids together, but they had to go through various fertility treatments.
Rebecca and Matthew have wanted to be parents for their entire relationship. They now have two children, Isabel Noemi and baby Leo. Isabel was born in February 2019 after seven rounds of IVF. While Rebecca and Matthew love their little girl, they always wanted a family of four to mirror Rebecca’s own upbringing, which she discussed on Good Morning America.

They revealed their journey to conceiving Leo in a 10-minute segment, in which Rebecca shared that she had a miscarriage at five months, which is considered a late-term miscarriage. She had been pregnant several times, but could never carry to term. At a certain point, their doctor said that their best chance at conceiving was with a surrogate.
They had never considered this option, but they decided to go for it. Rebecca was nervous that she wouldn’t connect as deeply with her second child. But after speaking to friends, she found a new way to empathize with fathers, who also don’t carry their children in the womb. Now, Rebecca and Matthew have the perfect nuclear family with their daughter, Isabel, and baby boy Leo. Congrats to the Jarvis-Hanson family!
A customer allegedly told DoorDash that she didn’t get her food, but it was placed outside her door. The DoorDash driver returned to confront her.

And now it seems that customers may be lying about not getting their food in hopes of getting a refund. One DoorDasher, who was penalized after a customer claimed her food wasn’t delivered, returned to the customer’s address to find the food still there. Then she knocked on the door to confront the customer about this complaint.

A DoorDash customer allegedly complained she didn’t get her food, even though her order was placed outside her door.
DoorDash driver and TikTok user Jade (@jadecharde) received a violation for allegedly not delivering a customer’s food. However, she knew that she had delivered the food. So, she decided to return to the customer’s address, confront her, and record the conversation.

Upon arriving, Jade saw that the food was still sitting outside the door where she left it. She knocked on the door and spoke to the customer, who was named Khyersten, about why she reported her food missing.
“I didn’t say that.” Khyersten is heard saying to Jade in the video.
“They literally gave me a violation on my account,” Jade explained to Khyersten, who apologized and said she didn’t mean to get her in trouble.

“Why do you have the food sitting outside?” Jade probed Khyersten, to which she answered, “I was asleep.”
Khyersten promised that she would correct it with DoorDash, and then Jade left. And that was it.
It’s unclear if Khyersten did report her order missing on purpose or if she really didn’t know her food had been delivered because she was sleeping. Things just didn’t seem to add up on Khyersten’s end.
And users acknowledged that in the comment section: “If she was [asleep] how did she report it not being delivered?”
Another asked: “Who goes to sleep when ordering food? Like you know it’s coming.”

And one user applauded Jade for actually confronting Khyersten.
But not everyone thought that Khyersten was a master of deceit trying to get a free meal.
“It’s not that deep. If the food was still outside, she clearly didn’t know it was there and didn’t bother to check. Easy fix now that she sees it,” said one user in a comment.

“The fact that it’s exactly where you left it makes me believe her,” wrote another user in the comment section of Jade’s video.
A third user wrote, “She seems genuine??”

Other users then began questioning Jade about whether or not she took a photo of the food when she first delivered it. Photographic evidence might have helped her avoid her alleged violation, but she didn’t respond.
The debate over who is right in this situation could go on and on but the lesson here is that if you report your food missing, it should actually be missing (and not just outside your door). And if you’re a Dasher, you should always document every delivery to protect yourself in case a customer tries to take advantage of the system.
