Elon Musk shares the majority of his kids with his first wife, Justine Wilson.

The couple then decided to go through IVF to grow their family. Justine gave birth to twins Griffin and Vivian Jenna Wilson two years after Nevada’s death. Two years after that, the couple had triplets sons Saxon, Kai, and Damian. Justine and Elon divorced in 2008.

In 2022, per TMZ, Elon’s transgender daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, filed legal documents to drop her father’s last name and legally declare her gender identity. She cited her reasoning as “Gender Identity and the fact that I no longer live with or wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape or form.”

Elon has spoken out against the transgender community in the past, tweeting messages such as “Pronouns suck.”

Grimes first revealed she was pregnant in January 2020 with a topless photo posted to Instagram. On May 5, 2020, Elon took to Twitter to announce the arrival of his son. “Mom and baby all good,” he wrote, before sharing a photo of himself and the newborn. In a cover story for the April 2022 issue of Vanity Fair, Grimes revealed she and Elon secretly welcomed a daughter in December 2021 via surrogate, after the baby’s tantrum interrupted the interview. The baby’s full name is Exa Dark Sideræl Musk, though they call her “Baby Y.”

Elon had twins with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis in 2021.

A new report from Insider reveals that Neuralink director of operations and special projects Shivon Zilis and Elon filed to change their children’s legal surnames to Musk earlier in 2022. The petition asks that the children “have their father’s last name and contain their mother’s last name as part of their middle name.”

The twins were reportedly born in November 2021, shortly before Exa, according to court documents.

CNN Business also discovered a document from Travis County, Texas, showing the petition was filed in April 2022 and obtained in May. The company Neuralink was co-founded by Musk and is developing implantable brain chips to improve cognitive function.

Neither parent has commented on the news, although Elon seemed to hint at it in a tweet from July 7, 2022: “Doing my best to help the underpopulation crisis. A collapsing birth rate is the biggest danger civilization faces by far.”

Elon Musk has a “new” secret baby with a unique name.

Elon confirmed that he and Grimes actually have another child together. Fans only found out because pop culture update account, Pop Base, leaked the information. Elon replied and confirmed his child’s existence.

Keeping in trend with the other odd names of his kids, this child is named Tau Techno Mechanicus.

Did Facebook Change Their Blue? They Just Redid Their Logo

Published

on

Facebook changed the color of their logo, and many people are starting to notice and wondering what led to the change in logo and color.

Source: Getty Images

The Gist:

  • Facebook updated its logo on Sept. 20, 2023, with a deeper blue and some small changes to the “f” in the logo.
  • The changes were designed to make the logo more “electrifying” and “everlasting,” but they definitely aren’t major shifts.
  • The company also made slight updates to its wordmark to align it with the new logo.

Although it may not be as popular with younger generations as it once was, Facebook remains the most widely used social media service on the planet. As such, Facebook has remained remarkably consistent over the years, doing very little rock the boat or change up its platform so that users feel uncomfortable or confused.

On Sept. 20, 2023, Facebook made a change that many people may have overlooked. Now, as they open the app or look at it on their browser, though, they have realized that something seems different. The blue in the logo seems different, and many people want to know why.

Did Facebook change their blue?

Facebook did make a slight update to its logo, and the blue in the logo is now a bit darker. Additionally, they made a few minor changes to the “f” that are almost imperceptible unless you know where they are.

Meta, the company behind Facebook, explained the change by saying that they wanted to make a new logo that seemed “everlasting.”

Article continues below advertisement

“Our intention was to create a refreshed design of the Facebook logo that was bolder, electric, and everlasting,” the company said in a blog post. “Each of the distinctive, new refinements drive greater harmony across the entire design as a key element of the app’s identity. We’ve done this by incorporating a more confident expression of Facebook’s core blue color that is built to be more visually accessible in our app and provides stronger contrast for the ‘f’ to stand apart.”

The logo is certainly different, but it isn’t a radical change, which makes sense. According to Meta’s own statistics, Facebook is visited by a staggering 2 billion people every day, so a radical overhaul of the logo would likely cause a pretty significant disruption. They’ve updated the logo, but hopefully they haven’t made it any harder for all of their regular users to find the app on their phones.

Facebook also updated its wordmark.

In addition to updating its signature logo, Facebook updated its wordmark with a new font and a blue to match the logo.

“Using our custom typeface, Facebook Sans, we redesigned the wordmark and logo to create a consistent treatment and improve overall legibility across Facebook,” Meta explained.

“Similar to the changes to the logo symbol, these refinements allowed us to build upon the heritage of our identity, while creating a stronger relationship between how the wordmark pairs with the rest of the typeface,” the company continued.

Facebook did change its blue, but apparently, the company is hoping that this new blue will last forever. Check back on that in five years.

Moriah Plath’s Childhood Alopecia Made Her Feel Unloved

Published

on

‘Welcome to Plathville’ star Moriah Plath was diagnosed with alopecia as a kid and it impacted her a lot. Here’s where she stands today with the past.

The Gist:

  • Welcome to Plathville‘s Moriah struggled with alopecia during her childhood.
  • The condition led to her low self-worth.
  • Years later, the reality star is more at peace with her experience.

Many of us have difficult things from our pasts that define us today, and Moriah Plath of Welcome to Plathville is no different. In her case, however, her childhood diagnosis of alopecia was hidden away for years — until now.

Although the reality star once tried to pretend that this upsetting time in her life never happened, she is coming to terms with having lost all of her hair as a kid.

Moriah Plath’s alopecia diagnosis truly shaped who she was for many years.

As other sufferers know, alopecia is a type of hair loss that occurs on the scalp, face, and body, per the American Academy of Dermatology Association. It can begin at any age, and for Moriah, at age 3, she received her diagnosis.

“I would look myself in the mirror and I would say, ‘You are ugly. Nobody will ever love you,’” she heartbreakingly recalls during an episode of the show.

She goes on to explain, “I lost all my hair for several years completely, not even eyebrows or eyelashes,” per People.

Moriah, who described herself as “completely bald,” shared more about her experience with the incurable disease, saying during the show, “The doctors said it was alopecia but it was like a rare kind of alopecia cause it just all fell out immediately and came back years later. Everywhere I went, I was made fun of by kids my age: [at] church, [by] my siblings. And that’s when I really started to see myself as different.”

Moriah tried to block out her alopecia experience when her hair came back.

Moriah was seemingly in denial about having had alopecia, relaying that “every single one of my family members knew never to show a picture of me when I was younger to anybody. And never to tell anybody.”

Moriah admitted she wanted to “block” out the very hard time in her life, and in one scene of Welcome to Plathville, she says to her father that when her hair returned, she decided to “forget” about the alopecia.

Moriah’s parents Barry and Kim made her feel “beautiful” when she had alopecia.

In a moving Instagram post shared in May 2023, Moriah said about her father Barry Plath, “He’s shown me the meaning of unconditional love.”

Moriah’s parents were very supportive during her struggles with alopecia.

Indeed, it seems that during the years she had alopecia, Barry and his ex-wife Kim were a source of support for their daughter.

“I think you and mom were the only ones that actually told me I was beautiful,” Moriah tells Barry on the episode.

Still, her parents couldn’t make her pain go away completely. “For a while I was angry because you guys couldn’t fix it and you were my parents and you were supposed to fix it, but you couldn’t,” she shares.

Today, it seems that Moriah is more comfortable with her past, since she is addressing the experience with the condition on a TV show. Since as many as 160 million people around the world suffer from alopecia, there’s no doubt that the reality star opening up about her own diagnosis will help others feel more seen.
