For the first time ever, Fortniteplayers can now start sending Return Tickets to refund unwanted skins purchased with V-Bucks. This offer from Epic Games is an unprecedented consumer change made possible due to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) grilling the developer in court (again) for illegal behavior claims.
Both sides ultimately reached a money settlement, and players who have received wrongful charges over the years can also grab a piece of that pie.
Whether you apply for a refund through the FTC or Fortnite, here’s everything you need to know.

The next screen will show a list of your items, where you can freely choose which one to return for a refund of V-Bucks. Each item will have a different V-Bucks value, so you can shop around and see which items can give you a higher payout before committing.
To keep a leash on how many refunds a player can send, Epic Games has given everyone three Return Tickets. Additional Return Tickets will be sent every 365 days.
Unfortunately, you can’t refund Level Up Quest Packs, Gifts, real-money purchases, Battle Pass, Battle Pass Tiers, Loot Llamas, event or weekly items, and Crew Subscriptions.
If you were wrongfully charged or didn’t like a new skin you just bought, you now have some wiggle room to receive your funds back in Fortnite. Hopefully, this change stays.

So, is Sam Hartman dating anyone?

Sam grew up with two older brothers, Joe and Demitri.
The college athlete grew up in a football household, sometimes playing alongside his older brother Joe. Now, like the Notre Dame superstar, Joe is a relatively private person. However, in August 2023, Sam revealed that Joe is a medical student at the University of Florida.
Sam also had another older brother: Demitri Allison. He moved in with the Hartman family at 15 and went on to play football at Elon University. Demitri and Sam were inseparable, and the latter idolized his older brother.

On Nov. 11, 2015, Demitri died by suicide.
Sam opened up about his brother’s death in a post on Faith Driven Athlete, writing, “He may have had a different last name than me, and we may not have shared a bloodline, but he was a brother in every sense of the word. And when you love someone like you love a brother, it hurts just as much not having him here anymore.”

Since his brother’s tragic death, Sam has put the initials D.A. (Demitri Allison) on his wristband. He also wears jersey No. 10 in Demitri’s honor, as it was his number on the football field.

Sam, who started therapy in 2021 and found ways to manage his anxiety and stress, told ESPN that he sees some of Demitri in his Notre Dame teammates — and that drew him to continue playing college football.
Sam’s parents are very supportive of his career.
Sam Hartman was born on July 29, 1999, to parents Mark and Lisa Hartman. While he’s close with his dad, a surgeon, the QB and his mom have a close-knit bond due to their similar personalities.
Lisa told ESPN she and Mark were strict in raising their boys and “didn’t do a lot of coddling.” She noted a difference between “being hurt and being injured,” but she and Mark always offered support.

“She’s why I’m here,” Sam said of Lisa. “She’s been the one who’s there when I was in the hospital when I was 17, when I’m in the hospital again when I’m 23. Those are tough moments where you’re seeing your mom sleep on either a chair sitting upright, or sleeping on a small couch. I’m important to her, and I felt that the whole time.”

Sam Hartman wears a necklace with a piece of his own rib bone.
Sticking to the topic of hospitals, Sam underwent surgery in August 2022 after being diagnosed with Paget-Schroetter syndrome, which, according to ESPN, “causes a blood clot in a vein underneath the collarbone.” The blood clot was a side effect of a thyroid surgery he had as a teenager.

As a result, doctors had to remove Sam’s rib; before the operation, he asked if he could keep it — and luckily, they let him take it. Sam wanted it to be a memento, and his mom knew exactly what to do.
She had made necklaces out of Petoskey stones, but to create the rib necklace, Lisa had to remove the flesh and clean it with an “extra-strength peroxide.” At one point, she even reached out to Sam.

“Look, on my computer history, I’m searching human bones and how to preserve them,” Lisa recalled telling Sam, per ESPN, “so if something happens, you’ve gotta be my alibi, like, I’m not trying to get rid of your dad or something.”
Sam doesn’t wear the rib necklace often, choosing to keep it in his apartment as a “symbol of what he went through, and his bond with his mom.”
We’ve all made mistakes at work, but (hopefully) none this bad. This woman was just following directions, but the results were disastrous.
TikTok is here for the good: cute dog videos, inspirational quotes, tarot readings. TikTok is also here for the bad. We don’t mean bad content necessarily, but like people sharing their bad experiences. While some of them are incredibly sad, others can just make us feel a bit better about ourselves … because at least it didn’t happen to us.

That might sound harsh but you all know the feeling when you see something and you think, “At least it wasn’t me.” That is exactly what we thought when a woman shared how she accidentally zeroed out the inventory at her store.

Here’s what happened.
This woman accidentally zeroed out her entire store inventory!
TikTok user @2beach2surf took to the app to describe what happened to her at work that day. The video starts with her saying, “I do inventory now. I go in early and I do inventory which works out great. It’s great, right? It’s great. It’s all great. It’s all great.” It soon becomes clear that she’s being sarcastic and her day was actually not that great.

“Today is my first day to do it on my own,” she continues. “I followed my little sheet of paper. I trust that whoever made the f—— piece of paper knew what they were talking about. You would think right?”
The woman continues saying that, “I followed it to a T. Very literal. Everything that f—— piece of paper said to do, I did cause I’m a little A student … I just do what I’m told. I did everything the paperwork said including click a button. Click a button that says ‘zero all.’ It said right on the paperwork ‘click it,’ so I clicked it.”

At this point, anyone who has worked retail (or who understands what the phrase “zero all” means) is probably having a panic attack. And let me tell you, friends — that reaction is completely warranted. Watch the video to hear the whole story:
The woman then describes how she, “knew immediately that something wasn’t right,” even though she had just been following instructions. She couldn’t stop thinking about it so she decided to tell the manager what happened. The manager freaked out and told her that she shouldn’t have clicked “zero all,” and that you have to “filter it by brand,” — even though that wasn’t written on the instruction sheet.

The manager then told her that she “zeroed out the store’s entire inventory.” The woman is very noticeably frustrated and fighting back tears in her eyes recalling what happened. The woman says that no one can buy anything because it all says zero.

The woman told her manager, “That’s cool. Let me know the right way to do it next time, k?”
Now, obviously, we’ve all made mistakes at our jobs before — nobody’s perfect! Until the day that robots take over every single job in existence, we’re going to have to allow for some level of human error. Still, even though it’s a perfectly normal occurrence, it’s easy to imagine how awful this TikToker must have felt as soon as she realized her error.
Article continues below advertisement
And the error wasn’t even really her fault, as she points out in her video! We’re laying the blame for this one squarely at the feet of whoever created that piece of paper that tells people to click “zero all”!

Many of the commenters pointed out that the “zero all” button really shouldn’t even exist, or at least shouldn’t give one person the ability to completely delete 100 percent of the information without some kind of “are you sure you want to do that?” option.
Viewers were also super sympathetic to the TikToker’s plight. “Rough days at work are the worst. Just the worst,” one wrote. “Affects mood, self-esteem, outlook on life. I’m so sorry.”

On the bright side, this could be one way to ensure that you remain employed for a good long while. Someone is going to have to recount all of that stock, after all! Another silver lining is the fact that she’ll probably never have a worse day than this one. It’s all up from here!
