Zach Bryan was arrested for “obstruction of investigation” in Sept. 2023 in Craig County, Oklahoma.

On Sept. 7, 2023, Zach began his cross-country road trip to see his favorite football team, the Philadelphia Eagles, open the season against the Patriots. He’s making the trip with his beautiful dog, Jack, but it wasn’t all smooth sailing. Luckily, Zach gave us all the rundown of exactly what happened in his Instagram Stories.

On Sept. 6, Zach was pulled over for going a few miles over the speed limit in a small Oklahoma town. The cop then asked for Zach’s license, registration, and address, but as an international superstar, Zach wasn’t comfortable giving out his address, so the officer asked Zach to step out of his vehicle and handcuffed him. But this isn’t the incident in question.

After some talking, the police officer let Zach go. The next day, however, Zach told his security guard that he wanted to drive to the East Coast to catch the Eagles vs. Patriots game, so they went on their merry way in two separate cars. As they’re driving through Oklahoma, Zach’s security guard gets pulled over.

At this point, Zach is already frustrated with the police because of his previous incident. And now, he’s on a time crunch to get to the game. So, Zach circles around and sits in his car for about 15-20 minutes, waiting for the cop to let them go on their way. But after a while, stewing in frustration, Zach gets out of his car and tries to ask what’s going on.

The cop, however, instructs Zach to get back into his car or he’ll “go to jail.” By now, Zach has let his emotions get the best of him. In his retelling, he makes it very clear that he doesn’t stand by his actions or his heightened emotions that led to him being “lippy” with the officer. As the situation played out, Zach and the officer grew more frustrated, so the officer booked him into the Craig County Jail at 6:42 p.m. for “obstruction of investigation.”

After he was arrested, Zach posted bail, apologized for his actions, and continued on his road trip.

Although he spent about an hour and a half in jail, Zach was able to quickly post bail and continue on his journey. He said that when he left, he shook the officer’s hand and apologized for how he reacted to the situation. Almost immediately, Zach also released a statement on Twitter to get ahead of the news. “Today I had an incident with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Emotions got the best of me and I was out of line in the things I said,” he wrote.

“I support law enforcement as much as anyone can, I was just frustrated in the moment, it was unlike me and I apologize. They brought me to jail, and there is a mug shot of me floating around. Prayers we can all move on from this and prayers people know I’m just trying the best I can, I love you guys and I am truly sorry to the officers.”

Despite Zach’s apologies, his fans have run to his defense. Some are even encouraging him to make the mugshot his next album cover. But at least now we know the full story and can make our own judgment call about who was really in the wrong.

Being a manager who has been tasked with “running a tight ship” can often be a daunting and thankless task. Sure, you receive a pay bump that comes with greater responsibilities, but oftentimes you can be put in a position where the employees who work under your supervision can resent you, and your workplace superiors will often give you an inordinate amount of work to do.

You’re put in a position where you’re receiving flak from both sides, which can lead to some pretty high-stress scenarios. And while there are some bosses workers absolutely adore, there are others who are doing whatever they can to make a company profitable and allow that to cloud their judgment when it comes to enforcing certain policies.

And then there are those who act in ways that leave people wondering just how in the world they were ever even considered for a promotional experience in the first place. Like this encounter, a TikTok user had with her boss that many people are saying was entirely out of line and possibly illegal.

TikToker Abby Gebo, who posts under the handle @thegebos, uploaded a now-viral clip about an interaction she had with her boss regarding her insulin medication. She captioned the video with the following: “diabetic storytime.”

Abby said that her manager had looked through her backpack for whatever reason and found a syringe in there. Maybe because he was watching a lot of The Wire or just saw Trainspotting, but he instantly assumed that the syringes were being used for intravenous recreational drug use.

Abby says that her manager spoke to a coworker about the backpack, stating that he was going to look into the needles further. When he confronted Abby about the bag, she said that he told her he “really expected better from her.”

The statement left the TikToker bewildered.

Then her manager asked her outright if she was doing drugs. “Do I look like I’m doing drugs?” Abby rejoined. She went on to remind her boss that she was diabetic, a fact about her that Abby says he was already aware of.

He didn’t immediately accept that explanation, however, stating that his own niece was a diabetic and never used needles, just pumps in order to give herself insulin.

“OK um, I can’t wait to sue you, but some people can’t afford pumps and have to use like vials and syringes,” Abby retorts in her video.

The TikTok user’s interactions with her manager only got worse from there when he demanded that she prove to him she was using insulin. She noted to her viewers on the social media platform that even though she didn’t have to offer up proof of her medical condition, she did so anyway, presenting her vials of insulin to him.

“You’re lucky, but I’m watching you,” Abby says her boss told her, adding that he was ensuring that none of the staff under his employ were abusing recreational drugs.

Abby quit her job that very day and many commenters who responded to her TikTok mentioned that it was illegal for her boss to not only look through her stuff, but question her about her medical condition.

In fact, under the Americans with Disabilities Act, it’s illegal for any employer to discriminate against a worker for having a disability or medical condition. Many who saw Abby’s video believe that if what she’s saying is true then her manager was in direct violation of this law, which could fall under a Federal offense.

A TikTok user found herself in a frightening situation. The user thinks she was almost abducted while livestreaming and got all of it on video. Courtney Dye (@courtkneee2point0) was livestreaming while at a U.S. post office in August when the terrifying ordeal took place.

In the livestream, which has since been posted in full, Courtney is handling her mail while inside the post office in Broken Arrow, Okla. The clip begins innocently as Courtney is examining her packages before shipping them. Here’s what went down.

Woman thinks she was almost abducted and got it all on video.

Although the video starts off normal, it quickly takes a shocking turn. A woman enters from outside the frame and explains that she was lost and looking for help. “I’m lost but I don’t speak English very good,” the unidentified woman says. “I don’t know where I can go.”

Courtney attempts to give directions but the woman suggests that she was unsure how to get to her destination from the post office. Courtney then offers to take the woman home and then the encounter gets weird.

The video cuts to Courtney having a conversation with the woman and suggests that the woman contact a highway patrol officer to help her find her way home. Courtney continues to ask the woman where she was coming from but wasn’t able to get additional information. The woman simply repeated “I’m lost.”

A police officer then entered the building, but it isn’t clear who contacted the authorities. After Courtney recorded the livestream, her followers immediately requested a follow-up video.

Courtney was unharmed in the potential abduction.

After Courtney posted the video of what she believes was an abduction attempt, her 16,000 TikTok followers demanded she provide an update on her wellbeing. “Please share a part two. The more awareness the better,” one person wrote. While others were thankful that Courtney was livestreaming the incident.

In the second half of the livestream, which Courtney posted later, the responding police officer escorts the woman out of the post office. It isn’t clear whether the woman was truly lost, but the officer was presumably able to help her get to her destination.

Courtney then explained that she went to the post office after dark to ship out packages for her customers. However, Courtney decided not to finish the task and left the post office out of fear that she was being watched.

Other attempted abductions have been caught on camera.

Courtney had every right to weary of the lone woman in the post office, as kidnapping attempts have been captured on video in abundance. In January a video showing an man attempting to pull a barista through a Starbucks drive-thru window went viral. The video, shared by the Auburn Police Department, shows a man in a pickup truck grabbing an employee and attempting to place zip ties on her wrists.

The man was later identified as Matthew Darnell, after he was arrested thanks to tips from viewers, according to Fox 13. Matthew was charged with attempted kidnapping in the second degree with a finding of sexual motivation. He was also charged with assault in the first degree.
